Backing Track:
This is a lesson called “The Bite”. If you’ve ever wondered how great players make notes “bite” and “scream” from their guitars, then this lesson is for you. It exposes the mystery behind how to get this awesome effect.
In this lesson we’ll learn the technique of playing artificial harmonics, the secret behind the effect and exactly the right combination of notes you need to create great leads with them.
As always, I’m not limiting you to just learning the technique, but also giving you an interesting way to practice and actually put it to use in a musical way by showing you how to use it with a jam track. This will prepare you for real-life jamming situations.

All fine and good but how about explaining amp/tone settings and pedals used to get this sound.
Thanks,
Lloyd

Hey Lloyd, thanks for your question… I’ll see if I can ask Bob if he remembers what he used on this setup. A couple notes that I can tell you about the best way to product a similar tone is to lay on a lot of distortion, either with a pedal or your amps drive/distortion knob, and use the bridge pickup on your electric guitar.
He uses a lot of pinch harmonics in this lick and those sound the best when using thick distortion and the treble pickup
