This is a composition I wrote called “The Runner” that sounds great when you play it for your friends solo or in jam situations. I call it “The Runner” because it moves quickly and the notes seem to race from your fingers when you play it.
Its goal is to build pull off and speed picking skills, two techniques that are essential for lead playing. By giving you this composition I’m not limiting you to just learning the technique, but also giving you an interesting way to practice and actually put it to use in a musical way.
I’m also going to show you how combine it with a jam track too so you’ll be prepared to use the techniques you’ve learned in real jam situations outside of just practicing it.
So let’s get your fingers racing!
